To Our Gray Drake Clients:
Laurie and I sincerely hope that all of our valued clients and
friends, and families are staying well and weathering this unprecedented
pandemic. For most of us, it is a bit surreal
to experience our daily lives altered in such a drastic way- especially in the
destination lodge and guiding business.
Since we don’t have the ability to pivot Gray Drake Outfitters to
any sort of remote operation, we are proactively trying to generate some cash
flow during this shut down which sadly falls during one of our busiest seasons. Staying positive , we are looking forward to some of the
best steelheading which often occurs uniquely in May on the Muskegon, to some
amazing mayfly/gray drake hatches for big browns and rainbows to come in
May/June, Summer Skamania Steelhead, late summer caddis and midge hatches, and
of course our amazing wild Chinook Pacific king salmon/fall swinging for
steelhead and our unique Atlantic salmon fishery in Michigan- it is in these
tremendous options we have been gifted with that keeps us strong, hopeful and
positive for better days to come!
While we understand that it might be hard to look ahead and make
plans right now, if you do think that you will be fishing with us later this
year, we are asking you to make your reservation now or at least put a deposit
down for future dates.
If you book with us now and plan on lodging with us, we’ll even
throw in a home cooked meal when you’re here to show our appreciation!!
Stay healthy, safe and positive- our prayers and blessings are
with all of you!
