RIVERS ARE FALLING FAST WITH CHILLY TEMPS...BUT LOAD FOR BEAR!

After peaking at 9,000 cfs, the Muskegon is now at 6,000 and falling fast. It is now "fly fishable", without using  two ounces of lead sinkers...going midging now with one once and 7x tippet...LOL! Yes spawn guys have hit fish during the high and dangerous flows , but you be the judge.

Seriously, it is clearing up fast and will drop fast and clear faster with cool air temps. But tie and fish big and gaudy with lots of flash and color....simple rule in stained water.

Water temp shot back down to 41 F, so that is actually good and will slow the run down a bit for a longer duration.

Good news is that there is lots of steelhead and browns in the system and the rest of April and May will be awesome after we get major flooding.

NOTE:...still have one weekend open due to schedule changes with the weather and flood, and a few middle week spots.
