YUP......!, it has been a brutally cold April- lots of snow and rain, thunderstorms, river at 4,500 cfs but clear.Water temperatures have been down-right cold!!!!!!!!-upper thirty/low forties-best bite has been near noon on some cold days . Steelhead "Johnny Murphy really tore them up today- nice hard fresh chrome hens and an awesome brown eating eggs ....................IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER EVERY DAY!........MAY WILL BE ON FEUGO!

P.S...........the stone fly hatch has been put on hold due to the cold Temps!- morel mushrooms coming soon- Thanks to Chef Gavin who gave me his little secret on Morchellas!)
