( they are start'in a pop'in-image by the bug Doctor, John Miller)

Brutal heat has been the trend. But a cool system is coming with a little spike into the upper 80's Friday - but back in the 70's after that. The bubbler has been trying to get the night temps down-21 C last night. We and the trout just need a break from this madness! Maybe this is it and August will be cooler.

Some Summer runs in the Joe and Big Man but we need a major rain and lake-turn-over event to bring up more fish.

Muskegon at 1390 cfs-fish early and late- leave them alone during the day- except for smallies.

Fight fish quick and fast release-barbless only as always.

Cool thoughts!
