What can I say....perfection happens when you have the right moment...the right karma.......the right dudes........and NO F'N WIND CHILL!!!!!!!!.
After doing a a commercial for the SHOWSPAN guys for the Grand Rapids Ultimate Fishing show , we went in search of chrome steelhead. The fish gods looked favorably on us today. Got great footage for the T.V. show and commercials, had a ton of laughs, filmed the Trout & Eagle lodge and put some awesome chrome "EARLY GIRL" steelhead into the net!............ain't get no bedda den dat!
Thanks Tony Gates( top "national" award winning DJ radio "big personality" for the Tony Gtaes Show--WJRW AM- and Classic Rock WLAV), for your continued effort to get youth into fishing and hunting( Tony raised 4,000. for Newaygo Co. community services(NCCS) last week at the "Dam to Dam" ice fishing tournament......... And Jimmy, the production manager and head of the film crew from Michigan -Out-OF-Doors T.V.program-PBS stations- you were awesome for your first time( Great Lakes Nymphing), and to Mons. Henri Bouchard for allowing me the privilege for taking out these two classy guys........as you put it in your commercial verbiage-"THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT! - as we hoisted up the fish for nice shots.WE MADE THAT HAPPEN WITH A NICE 12 LB FERTILE AND GLORIOUS CHROME - WILD- MICHIGAN STRAIN WINTER STEELHEAD- NO FIN CLIP!- PERFECT DORSAL AND VENTRAL TRIANGLE SHAPED FINS,UN-ABRASIVE...........winter style....when the "zen' is so special! Tony was also blown away by the performance of the new Orvis Hydros 10 ft. 7 weght. and the Mirage V large arbor reel-he never felt any combo so light and perfect- he wanted to buy the rod and reel from me on the spot!
Damn...........couldn't get sweeter!- But...Tony, dude! Hook-up and landing percentage was much better than your trout fishing nymphing...........MUCH,MUCH BETTER!
