Today was a winter dream. Snowy Great Lakes landscape.Warm sun against a blue sky. No wind-calm.Upper 20's that felt like 50.And at dusk, a full moon rising.........perefect!.All the while knowing the steelhead and trout are getting itchy for the bite.Oh Yeah..black midges hatching.
Water level perfect-2090 cfs-35F.
We had a very lovely couple at the Gray Drake the past few days in pursuit of their first winter steel Miles Tiernan he and landed his first fish on his second cast with Tim.
All is well and a very special time of year coming up......a Great Lakes winter wonderland.We are truly blessed.
