THEY"RE COMING!-AND HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

(last night in Cottonwood)

Good numbers of summer Skamania steelhead being caught off the pier heads of St.Joseph, Michigan City. With the very high river levels from all the rain they got, good numbers of fish should be ascending up river since the Joe has water temps in the upper 60"s and Trail Creek is very high and very cold.Should be a great year for summer runs.(see my new article on the St.Joseph river in EASTERN FLY FISHING(July/Aug issue)

Still a ton of drakes on the Muskegon last night (see above shot).Bugs are falling very late or in the morning with the hot weather.
