MUSKEGON RIVER REPORT

Much needed rain brought river up to a very nice level-2600 CFS-water temp. 46-48 F.

Lots of fresh and drop back steelhead in the system.Still a very good push of fresh fish coming in and will do so through May as always.

Here is Dave Munch from Rockford,IL with a nice buck that hammered a soft hackle sac stone and leaped at least 6 times at first light yesterday.Pine St. is the place to be-it's hot up there!

Dave is a hunting expert who does programming for the Outdoor Life Network. He's not bad with steelhead and a fly stick..He hit some hot chrome hens, but he loved the red banded males the best.Go Dave.Need to put that gun down more often!
